RESDA was formed on 1 Jan 09 from the evolution of the Gib UK dive club and the need for the club to secure a financial future. The core of the club remains and continues to offer the best dive training available within a club structure.

O2 & PRM Course 6-7 Feb 2010 at Gibraltar Barracks
This course is delevered as 2 standalone skill development courses, but has the advantage of covering most of the Dive Leader theory training. If you want to get on the course contact Mark at mark@mul8.com.

ASADA and RESDA Club members win BSAC national award.
The club has led the way with ASADA by getting involved with Diving Disability Awareness Training and the Battleback programme for soldiers undergoing rehab. The Cyprus expedition in June taught 5 soldiers to dive and all acheived the Ocean Diver Qualification.
BSAC recognised this acheivement by creating a new award - The Neptune Medal. This was awarded to expedition instructors, which included Mick Stewart, Andy Tolley and Mark Rowe from RESDA.

Ocean Diver Training
Ocean diver training is currently being delivered on Wed evenings by Jim Fuller and is concentrating on Pool and Theory elements. the open water training will be conducted when students are ready.
The next weekend Ocean Diver Course is planned for Feb 2010, get your medicals done and remember try dives are on the last Wed of each month from 7pm. Medical info here

New To Diving?

This is the first level of dive training under the British Sub Aqua Club (BSAC).
Jim Fuller is the training lead for all Ocean diver training. Training is delivered over 2 weekends, the first delivers theory and pool training, the second weekend delivers open water training during 5 dives. Come along to a club night at Gibraltar Barracks pool 7-9pm every Wed or use the contact form for more information.

Tim Doyly is the training lead for all sports diver training. The syllabus is delivered through evening training on club nights (Wed 7-9 pm) or weekends, concentrating on open water diving skills.

Mark Rowe is the training lead for all Dive Leader training. The syllabus is delivered through evening training on club nights (Wed 7-9 pm) or weekends, concentrating on open water diving skills.

Students studying at this level are encouraged to contact Mark at mark@mul8.com to arrange lessons.

This is the highest level of training delivered within the Club. Mick Stewart is the training lead for all Advanced Diver training. The sylabus has some theory lessons, but concentrates on diver management and organisation. Mick will email students requesting training requirements.
Training at this level is as requested, theory will be done on Wed evenings.
